The Hisatsinom Chapter is one of twelve chapters of the Colorado Archaeological Society (CAS) and is located in the Southwest corner of Colorado.

Chapter meetings are usually held the first Tuesday of each month at the Cortez Cultural Center in Cortez, Colorado at 7 pm and are free and open to the public.  Because of summer activities and programs at the Cultural Center, Hisatsinom will meet at alternative locations in June through August.  Topics at these meetings vary from local to international archaeological and historical projects of interest.

Field trips and volunteer projects are available to members of the Chapter. Members receive a monthly newsletter plus regular updates on local and statewide events. Membership in the Chapter is concurrent with that of the State Colorado Archaeological  Society and entitles members to State CAS programs and publications.

For a description of current events and activities undertaken by the Chapter, follow the Upcoming Events link.
